Islamic
architects of the 12th and 13th centuries (c.e.) were masters at designing
mathematical
patterns used for tileworks, this one shows the name of God,
Muhammad
and the four so called patriachal khalifs: Abu Bakr, Omar,
Uthman
and the prophet's son in law Ali
The
pentangular tiles are in rainbow colors, thus symbolising
the
devine revellation of Allah's "message" to mankind
